Public/Private

The front doorway acts as the threshold between the territory of the public and private space. I turned my bedroom door into a stereotypical “front door” complete with knocker, letter- box, doorknob, and glossy red paint. Boundaries are blurred here as our sense of space is disrupted- the private space of the apartment has actually become public, and this further reinforces my bedroom as my private place.
